A wish made in haste
just to then escape
I want to go home
so I'll write it down
"I wish for renown."
As I go back home,
walk the road alone,
I hear a strange sound.
"If that you wish,
know just this line:
There is magic there,
in sky land and sea.
Your wish shall be true,
If you just believe."
So I go to sleep,
as I start to weep.
When I waken,
the world around me had changed
I was standing there on the stage
But Where am I?
Then what is this
place that I am now?
I must find out somehow.
1st: A Desert Land
Next: A Tower Tall
3rd: A Pirate Ship
4th: A City Crammed
5th: A Farming Town
6th: A Forest Green
Next: Flying through space on a ship I be
In each place,
audience of one,
but looking closely,
I am them, it seems.
Different face true.
Each one is unique.
What is this stage then?
And what is this place?
I Turn around.
The world again had thus changed.
I now stand in a grassy plain.
But Where am I?
Then what is this
place that I am now?
I must find out then somehow.
That's when I see all around me,
and I say, "Be Freed!
When thou wakest,
thou shan't remember me,
but seek me out and then set me free.
Across space-time,
Come to my rhyme,
the zero-eth chime,
Though I know not Where, or when, I'm now
or why I am being held a lone captive within here
When I waken,
I am back home.
What was that then?
Will I ever know?
